Наша лабораторія використовує дві технології аналізу метафазних хромосом, а саме: стандартне цитогенетичне (каріотипування) та молекулярно-цитогенетичне дослідження (FISH)
Каріотипування
Каріотипування – порядкове представлення 46 хромосом (каріотипу), які забарвлені спеціальними методами для візуалізації та диференціювання хромосом. Метод дозволяє встановити кількісні та/або структурні аномалії хромосом.
Laboratory performs a wide variety of basic and advanced hematology testing on whole blood, serum, urine, cerebrospinal fluids and other body fluids.
Routine hematology and coagulation testing is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Additionally, advanced hematological tests are a performed using a variety of techniques including flow cytometry and electrophoresis based methods and are available from Monday to Friday, 7 am – 5 pm.
The Hematology Laboratory also performed body fluid analysis including:
- Automated Urinalysis with the IRIS
- Rapid pregnancy screening
- Routine coagulation testing (PT and PTT)
- Joint fluid analyses for crystal evaluation, cell counts, WBC differentials
- Cell counts and WBC differentials on CNS, pleural and ascetic fluids
Флуоресцентна гібридизація in situ (FISH)
Технологія FISH дозволяє використовувати різноманітні флюорохроми, що специфічно зв’язуються з певними ділянками ДНК. FISH збільшує здатність ідентифікувати певні хромосомні сегменти, реконструювати структури хромосом за локалізацією гена, виявляти замасковані аномалії, що неможливо виявити за допомогою стандартних методів диференційного забарвлення (каріотипування), проаналізувати і описати складні перебудови.
The methodology includes nephelometry, ELISA assays, indirect immunofluorescence, FEIA and modified complement sheep fixation. The testing is performed by ASCP-certified Medical Technologists and includes the following tests:

- Anti Nuclear Antibody
- Anti Nuclear Antibody
- Anti Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide
- Anti-SM, Anti-RNP, Anti-RO, Anti-LA, Anti-Scl-70, Anti-DsDNA
- Anti Cardiolipin IgG and IgM
- Anti Beta 2 Glycoprotein I IgG and IgM

The Clinical Microbiology Laboratory is a full-service laboratory offering diagnostic bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, virlogy, and mycobaceriology.
The Microbiology Laboratory is composed of several sections including Aerobic and Anaerobic Bacteriology, Mycology, Parasitology, Mycobacteriology. Monday to Friday, 7 am – 5 pm.
The Clinical Microbiology Laboratory also performed body fluid analysis including:
- The Mycology Section
- The Parasitology Section
- The Virology/Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) Section
